Vegas With Cousin Cheryl

I always look forward to the WPPI convention. It's an annual event for photographers held in Vegas every year. This year my mom (Penny) and superstar cousin (Cheryl) were along for the ride. I managed to see a lot of great work, pick up some new gear and keep Cheryl out of trouble!

MU Warriors (alright Eagles.. whatever) vs. Louisville

I've only shot a handful of sporting events. I love basketball and thanks to Mr. David Bernacchi I attained a Media pass for this game. Again, I love basketball, but it's not a sport that can be enjoyed on a screen. In fact- unless it's a game I simply can't do without- I avoid mixing television and hoops at all costs. Soooooo...due to my strong beliefs in this arena...(meaning you can only truly enjoy it if you are there), I thoroughly enjoyed being up close and personal for this game. I love that you can hear EVERYTHING!!!(referees, coaches & players exchanging whatnots of all kinds...) ...and gross/scary as it may be sweat and or.. a stray ball could be flung at you at any time. These athletes move a lot faster than brides, babies and corporate executives so it's very challenging/fun to attempt to track them. Thank you Bernacchi for the opportunity! Hook me up!~ I need more!
